1. Site Planning and Preparation

  • First of all, a suitable area for the steam salt room should be determined. Immediately afterwards, the room size should be adjusted according to the user capacity. At the same time, a plan should be created considering the intended use and aesthetic design.
  • Within the scope of the project, it should be determined which materials will be applied to surfaces such as floor, wall and ceiling of the room. Electrical installation, ventilation and lighting details are also added to the project at this stage.

2. Isolation Application

The room should be insulated with special insulation materials to keep the steam in the room and prevent heat loss. At the same time, heat and moisture resistant, waterproof insulation materials should be preferred. Therefore, this both increases energy efficiency and extends the life of the room.

3. Wall Cladding and Salt Panels Installation

  • Room walls are often clad with Himalayan or mineral-rich natural rock salt panels. These panels not only enhance the visual appeal, but also allow the salt to combine with the moisture and become breathable.
  • They can be applied in the form of panels, salt blocks or crystalline salt stones, and robustness and durability must be taken into account when installing these stones.

4. Steam Generator Installation

  • A suitable steam generator must be selected and installed for the steam salt room. This generator increases the humidity level of the room and thus dissolves the salt and circulates the salty vapor in the room. These systems are usually programmable and have automatic temperature and humidity control.
  • Water connections and safety checks of the steam generator are made. The capacity of the generator is also adjusted according to the room size.

5. Halogenator System

  • The halogenator reduces salt particles down to the micron level, providing a combined environment with steam. The device also allows salt particles to be dispersed into the air faster, especially in areas where vapor is dense.
  • The halogenator is adjusted according to the room size and delivers the right amount of salt particles into the environment.

6. Ventilation System and Humidity Control

  • In a vapor salt room, a good ventilation system is installed to maintain a constant level of salt and vapor. At the same time, humidity control helps to keep the air clean while increasing comfort in the room. As a result, sensors that control the humidity level are added to maintain the balance of the environment.

7. Lighting and Atmosphere Settings

  • You can install LED or RGB light systems to create a relaxing and peaceful environment. Lighting, especially behind the salt blocks on the walls, will enhance the ambience of the room.
  • It is recommended that the lights have a soft tone. This in turn helps users to calm down or get more out of the environment.

8. Flooring and Seating

  • The floor should be covered with moisture-resistant and non-slip materials. In addition, a natural atmosphere can be created by pouring salt particles on the floor.
  • Seating areas should be ergonomic and comfortable. Seating arrangement should be adjusted according to user capacity and covered with hygienic fabrics.

9. Final Control and Testing Process

  • After the installation is completed, all systems will be checked. Thus, the steam generator, halogenator and ventilation systems will be tested to verify their correct operation.
  • The humidity, temperature and salt level of the environment should be adjusted to the ideal level and the room should be ready for use.
