Dry Salt Applications

Dry salt room applications

Dry salt applications are made to create a relaxing and healthy environment by utilizing the natural properties of salt. The steps and technical details to be considered in the construction of a dry salt room are as follows:

1. Site Planning and Project Preparation
2. Isolation Work
3.
Ventilation System Installation
4.
Installation of Salt Panels and Salt Blocks
5.
Halogenator Installation
6. Lighting and also Ambiance Regulation
7. Floor and Seating Areas
8. Control and Testing Process

1. Area Planning and Project Preparation

  • An area should be determined according to the intended use of the customer and the location of the room. In addition, space width and seating arrangement should be planned according to the number of people in the room.
  • Within the scope of the project, details such as the electrical installation, ventilation system and lighting of the room are determined. In addition, wall, ceiling and floor covering materials are selected at this stage.

2. Isolation Study

Insulation is essential for the benefits of a salt room to be fully realized. In particular, the insulation process ensures that the temperature and humidity levels of the room are kept in balance. In addition, heat-resistant panels and moisture-resistant materials should generally be used for insulation.

3. Ventilation System Installation

In a dry salt room, a powerful ventilation system is required to distribute the salt particles homogeneously in the air. As a result, this system in particular improves the air circulation inside the room, ensuring efficient diffusion of the salt particles necessary for the respiratory tract.

4. Installation of Salt Panels and Salt Blocks

  • Himalayan salt or mineral-rich rock salt panels are often placed on room walls. Salt blocks or panels also allow the salt to naturally evaporate and release minerals, while enhancing the aesthetic appearance of the room.
  • During the installation of salt panels on the walls, care should be taken to ensure that the panels have a solid structure.

5. Halogenator Installation

  • The halogenator is one of the most important pieces of equipment in a dry salt room. This device also increases the salt concentration in the room by spraying micro-sized salt particles into the air. In addition, the Halogenator provides the ideal environment for salt therapy.
  • The settings of the device should be adjusted according to the size of the room and the frequency of use. In addition, since the Halogenator is a device that requires regular maintenance, periodic cleaning and control operations should be carried out.

6. Lighting and Ambiance Arrangement

  • In the salt room, relaxing LED lighting with low light levels should be preferred. At the same time, the ambience should be enhanced with colored LED light options.
  • Estetik dokunuşlar için arka planda tuz blokları arasına entegre edilen aydınlatmalar kullanılarak şık ve huzurlu bir ortam oluşturulur.

7. Floor and Seating Areas

  • The floor is usually chosen from hygienic, easy-to-clean materials. Thus, salt crystals can be poured on the floor of the room to provide a natural texture.
  • Ergonomic seats or benches should be placed for the comfort of users. In particular, the seating arrangement should be adjusted according to the room usage capacity.

8. Control and Testing Process

  • After all assembly operations are completed, the systems must be tested for operability. In addition, equipment such as halogenators, ventilation and lighting should be checked.
  • Thanks to the homogeneous distribution of salt particles in the room, temperature and humidity rates remain constant.
